In 2020, two Lithuanian-Chinese friends met in Vilnius and noticed overseas Chinese struggled to recharge their favorite apps due to regional payment blocks. They built CNPier to accept only USDT and crypto, bypassing traditional banking and enabling seamless mobile, game, and video top-ups from 47 countries—starting with just 11 team members.
